Seasonal Gardener – Multiple Locations (4 Positions)
The Seasonal Gardener supports daily garden and landscape maintenance along with visitor readiness at one of the Land and Garden Preserve’s unique public gardens. Positions are available at Thuya Garden, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden, Asticou Azalea Garden, and at the plant propagation facility at McAlpin Farm. These seasonal, non‑benefitted roles involve hands‑on garden care, seasonal projects, and working outdoors as part of a collaborative team. Seasonal Carpenter
The Seasonal Carpenter assists with Preserve‑wide building maintenance and small construction projects, supporting facilities operations during the busy season. This seasonal role emphasizes safe tool use, job‑site organization, and hands‑on learning while working across multiple Preserve properties.

Seasonal Land Steward
The Seasonal Land Steward supports trail construction, invasive species management, and general land stewardship across the Preserve’s natural lands. This physically demanding, field‑based seasonal position plays a key role in maintaining trails, supporting ecological health, and ensuring visitor safety.
