Membership Levels & Benefits

Membership Explanations
-
One-time access passes to the Abby Garden require a reservation through the Preserve’s online system. We ask that Members at all levels make a reservation. Passes are honored for the current season only; they cannot be carried over.
-
Discounts of $25 for Dogwood, and $50 for Forget-Me-Not memberships are available to seniors age 65 and older, full-time students, year-round MDI residents, and active military.
-
All memberships are considered dual memberships, with benefits applicable to two adults in the same household. Each adult will receive the membership benefits except in the case of free passes to the Abby Garden. Those benefits will be distributed once, to the household.
-
Membership fees are tax deductible. When a benefit has a monetary value (Abby Garden passes are valued at $15 each), the Preserve will provide a tax receipt that subtracts the value of the benefit from the total membership contribution. For donors making membership contributions from Donor Advised Funds, the Member must waive non-deductible Membership benefits, which includes Abby Garden passes. Questions about the policies of your specific Donor Advised Fund can be directed to your fund advisor.
-
Memberships and Member benefits are exclusively for non-commercial use by individual members and cannot be sold or transferred.
-
All membership sales are final.
