Being a member of the Preserve has two fabulous benefits. First, members help to keep three amazing gardens and over 1,000 acres of natural lands open and welcoming. Second, members are offered experiences that deepen their understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
Based on the popularity of our member nature hikes this past season, we plan to offer more of those, and we have expanded that benefit to our gardens. Next season, we will offer members a “Walk & Talk with Garden Staff” at both the Asticou Azalea Garden and Thuya Garden. Mary Roper at the Azalea Garden, and Wendy Dolliver and Rick LeDuc at Thuya Garden will lead small tours on a variety of topics at several times during the season. Members will get the inside scoop on how we make the gardens grow so beautifully.
In addition to these new benefits, our popular member benefits will still include:
Quarterly newsletter
20% discount on books
Free or discounted passes to the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden
Nature hikes with natural lands staff
Curated plants from the Preserve greenhouses
Carriage rides around Little Long Pond
Evening access to the Abby Garden
