At the Asticou Azalea Garden, fall is the second peak season with September and October ablaze with autumn colors. The garden is open through October 27. Thuya Garden remains open until October 9. In the off-season, visitors are still welcome to hike the Asticou terraces and wander the woodland paths adjacent to the border gardens. The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden closed for the season on September 10, but planning is already underway for next season. Of course, the carriage roads and trails on our natural lands are open all year round. When the snow flies, they are a perfect setting for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
