As autumn settles in, our gardens are preparing for their winter rest, but there is still plenty of beauty to enjoy before and after the snow flies.

Thuya Garden and Lodge are open until October 13. Don’t miss the chance to soak up the crisp fall air and golden light in the garden. The nearby Asticou terraces and woodland trails are open year-round for peaceful walks.
At the Asticou Azalea Garden, the fall show is just as dazzling as spring. September and October bring fiery foliage reflected in the pond, a sight not to be missed. Winterizing begins on November 1, so make sure to sneak in a visit before then.
The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden closed for the season on September 7. We loved sharing the garden with you this year, as it was looking especially brilliant thanks to a great border design and favorable (if dry!) weather. We are already looking forward to next year.

And remember, the carriage roads and natural lands never close. Once winter arrives, we are hoping for snowy days perfect for skating on the pond, skiing across the carriage roads, and snowshoeing under frosty trees.
Come enjoy the changing seasons with us!
